To ensure a clean beauty routine, we need sustainable beauty products.
For this reason the ingredients in our formulas are organically grown, wild-harvested, plant-based and vegan. The way -we think- it should be for every formula.
When searching for high-quality ingredients we focus on sustainability, ethical sourcing and organic certified ingredients. And, of course gathered as close to our lab as possible. We also use by-products from the food & juice industry like strawberry seed oil, blueberry seed oil, blackberry seed oil and raspberry seed oil, so there is no waste.
100% Micro-plastic Free
All our products are proudly certified Micro Plastic Free by the Plastic Soup Foundation.
Our bottles and jars are made of glass which can be recycled and reused over and over. The top of our droppers are made from rubber and can be easily broken apart, so you can recycle the glass pipettes as well.
The collars of the bottles and the lids of the jars are made from recyclable PP and PETG. In Amsterdam you’ll have several points where you can drop these. See here: https://kaart.amsterdam.nl

The airless pump system combined with glass takes care that the products stay fresh and can be squeezed till the last drop. And they're Ecocert proof. Our labels are eco-friendly and made without vinyl (plastic).
A New Box for a New Chapter
With our rebrand, we wanted packaging that reflects who LIV has become — refined, grounded, and consciously designed. The result is a box that feels elevated yet soft, gender-neutral yet warm, and unmistakably LIV.
Made from 100% recycled post-consumer paper, the packaging reduces deforestation, saves resources, and keeps materials in circulation. The paper is naturally white without chemical whiteners and certified by FSC®, EU Ecolabel, and Blue Angel.
We print with plant-based inks using a waterless process, avoiding wastewater and harmful substances. The boxes are also more compact, using less material and reducing our shipping footprint — proof that sustainability can be smart, thoughtful design.
Plant-based Inks
When it comes to possible toxic chemicals, normal ink is definitely one of them. Those inks often contain high concentrations of heavy metals and volatile organic compounds (VOC’s) which are bad for our planet and our health. Especially for people who work around them and come in contact with larger volumes of ink every day.
Reason for us to only use natural plant-based inks like canola and soy ink, which are biodegradable and less harmful for our environment.
Recycled Material
Our shipping material is made from recycled kraft paper. Even our paper tissue wrapping, tape and stickers are eco-friendly, acid free, made from certified FSC and as well printed with plant-based ink.
We Give Back
Our planet is in a global climate crisis, and we need to take action.
Because we care, we take responsibility for the health of our planet by donating 1% of our total revenue to nonprofit organisations which support urgent environmental issues. Those organisations are carefully selected through the 1% For The Planet network.
Last but not least. We keep our carbon footprint small, because it’s our goal to have the least harmful impact on our environment.
Supporting DIRT Charity aligns with our intention to protect beauty at the source. Regenerating soil is one of the most important actions to be taken in the face of climate change.
